Who Can Apply (Eligibility Criteria)
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Must have a domicile of Gwadar, Lasbela/Hub, Kech (Turbat), or Awaran district of Balochistan.
- Must have completed 12 years of education (Intermediate or equivalent) with at least 50% marks in both Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC).
- Both SSC and HSSC must have been completed from institutions located in one of the qualifying districts.
- Students who are already enrolled in a BS program within one academic year prior to the advertisement may also apply.
- Applicants must be 22 years old or younger on the closing date of the application.
- Candidates must meet both HEC and the university’s admission criteria for the BS program.
- Students currently receiving another government or HEC scholarship are not eligible.

Selection Process
The selection of scholars is based on a merit list and district quota system as defined in the project’s planning documentation. Applicants must appear in an aptitude test conducted by HEC, and the final merit list is prepared using a weighted formula based on academic performance:

- Where hostel accommodation is unavailable, scholars may receive up to Rs. 5,000 per month (or actual, whichever is less).
