Who Can Apply (Eligibility Criteria)

To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Must have a domicile of Gwadar, Lasbela/Hub, Kech (Turbat), or Awaran district of Balochistan.
  • Must have completed 12 years of education (Intermediate or equivalent) with at least 50% marks in both Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC).
  • Both SSC and HSSC must have been completed from institutions located in one of the qualifying districts.
  • Students who are already enrolled in a BS program within one academic year prior to the advertisement may also apply.
  • Applicants must be 22 years old or younger on the closing date of the application.
  • Candidates must meet both HEC and the university’s admission criteria for the BS program.
  • Students currently receiving another government or HEC scholarship are not eligible.

Selection Process

  • Book and travel allowance up to Rs. 30,000 per year.
  • Where hostel accommodation is unavailable, scholars may receive up to Rs. 5,000 per month (or actual, whichever is less).
  • Each batch may include up to one scholar financed at prestigious institutions like LUMS and IBA Karachi.
